Quarto (quarto.org) is a new open source publishing system. It works with Python, R, Julia, and Observable. Imagine RMarkdown on steroids.
In the following video I look at how to get started with Quarto in RStudio, and explore the tutorials and useful tools that elevate Quarto over RMarkdown.
To get started with Quarto, download it from Quarto.org. It is free and available for Windows, Mac and Linux. If you are already an RMarkdown user you will find the transition fairly straight forward and will be producing beautiful documents in no time.
